This past week, Haverford hosted its one-of-a-kind Cop Camp, an engaging and educational program designed for boys and girls eager to explore the world of law enforcement. Over four action-packed days, campers participated in hands-on activities that inspired teamwork, responsibility, and respect for the law—all while having a ton of fun!
What Was Cop Camp?
Haverford's Cop Camp offered young explorers a unique glimpse into police work through interactive sessions and demonstrations. From learning what it takes to succeed at the Police Academy to exploring the latest in law enforcement technology, campers gained valuable insights in a supportive, exciting environment.
Program Highlights Included:
• Starting at the Beginning: Campers discovered what it takes to make it through the Police Academy and the skills needed to serve and protect.
• Crime Scene Investigations: They had hands-on experience analyzing evidence and learned how detectives cracked tough cases.
• Meeting Real-Life Officers: Campers interacted with K-9 handlers, SWAT team members, honor guard officers, and more.
It was an unforgettable experience filled with adventure, learning, and fun at Haverford’s Cop Camp!
Thank you to Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation for sponsoring this year's camp.

The Haverford Township Police Department provides an On-Line Police Blotter. The initial page will contain the current month of weekly reports. These weekly reports will contain listings of the various law enforcement incidents, events and other occurrences of interest to residents of Haverford Township. We hope to utilize this new tool as a means providing an open line of communication between the Police Department and the residents we proudly serve.
